A is for Awesome! The Noir A-Z: Photographer Julian Hibbard

It's been a little more then a year since I visited my friend Julian at his home in NYC. I remember him telling me that he wanted me to see something that would explain what his years of shooting were leading up to. He pulled out a velvet maroon bag that contained I hand made book filled with his images; and beside them one of every alphabet and word to describe each image. I was amazed when I saw what he had created and surprised when he told me he had yet to find anyone to publish it. Fast forward a year later and The Noir A-Z has been published and getting great reviews. It's funny how the universe will never give someone such an amazing gift with out the ability to share it with the world. Your vision is a true gift Jules! Thank you for sharing with me and the world!

I've added a few images for your and my own viewing pleasure. I hope they inspire you as much as they have me!

Jay-Z: On To The Next One

I love the imagery in this video; the editing is nasty! It's like moving photos. I also saw a few symbols thrown in! O.K Jay...I see you square! Which way you traveling!

PaperCraft Couture: Photographers Alexandra Zaharova & IIya Plotnikov

I have a few photographer friends who tell me how they never look at magazines or the portfolios of others photographers work. The reason they say, is because their afraid that it may taint their own ideas and visions of what they're hoping to create. It's the idea of creating something that no one has ever seen before. Something that is totally original.

For me it's the complete opposite! I love viewing the work of other artist and photographers. However there are those times that you come across similar ideas that you want to shoot, and have shot before. When that happens I normally smile to myself when the photographers attempt falls shot of greatness but, when it looks like Alexandra and IIya's work.....lets just say I can't stop crying long enough to smile! Damn their Awesomeness!
